Who We Are
We at Flying Eagle Financial understand the importance of protecting your retirement income.
In order to ensure our clients’ financial security after retirement, we help them develop strategies to save money for retirement. It is our goal to make the process as easy as possible for our clients. An important part of our services is providing our clients with products that fit their needs. Therefore, we are committed to continuing our education and product development.
Marty was born and raised in Vinton, Iowa, and finished high school in 1984. He attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, where he majored in Accounting. From 1995-2006, Marty owned Weiss Owl Incorporated, a nationwide trucking company. He managed all facets of the business while pursuing a career in financial services.
Currently, Marty and wife Kimberly reside in Cedar Rapids, Iowa so that they are close to their children Jacob and daughters Jessica and Elizabeth. In his free time, Marty enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, watching, and participating in most sports. Marty also supports local school activities. Previously, he led worship at Evansdale Foursquare Church. Additionally, he is a multi-year Million Dollar Round Table Top of the Table Qualifier, Prudential Masters Council Member, and, New England Financial Leaders Conference Qualifier.
Marty adheres to the same philosophy as Warren Buffett.

Jessica Kirk joined Flying Eagle Financial in 2013 as an office manager and appointment setter. She manages the day-to-day operations of the office as Office Manager. As an appointment setter, she is also responsible for coordinating and scheduling client appointments.
Jessica enjoys helping clients retire confidently and comfortably. She appreciates that the team truly cares for its clients. Jessica enjoys working at Flying Eagle Financial because of the good customer service and the relaxed office environment.
Those who know her describe her as nice, friendly, kind, stubborn, and strong-willed. On her days off, Jessica loves to spend time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys crocheting and relaxing. The family has a dog named Jack, a lizard named Smaug, and a fish that changes names every month.
In 2017, Stephanie Soikkeli joined Flying Eagle Financial as an appointment setter. Since then, her role has expanded to include handling client services in the transfer department. Currently, she assists with new business and client service requests.
Stephanie enjoys helping clients protect their savings from market declines. One of the things that make working at Flying Eagle Financial so enjoyable is how the team genuinely cares about the clients.
Her friends describe her as kind, friendly, and creative. Stephanie enjoys playing board games and crocheting when she is not helping clients. She has a cat named Gibbs. She also participates in church activities, and she attends Royal Family Kids Camp – a camp for children in foster care.
Liz joined Flying Eagle Financial as an Administrative Assistant in 2019. She coordinates and schedules seminars and provides assistance wherever needed.
Liz enjoys helping clients feel secure about their retirement. Flying Eagle Financial’s team genuinely cares about its clients, which makes working there enjoyable.
Described by her friends as kind, caring, a great listener, and always willing to lend a helping hand. In her spare time, Liz enjoys reading and gaming. She plans to get married in 2022. She has 2 ferrets, Honey and Udon.
Jordynne Kies joined Flying Eagle Financial in 2021. Jordynne is an Administrative Assistant. Her main role is setting up both appointments and seminar events. Additionally, she does some work in the transfer department.
She enjoys learning new things and gets enjoyment out of the fact that the work she does is making a difference for the better in other people’s lives. Jordynne is driven, compassionate, and kind.
When not working, she enjoys listening to music, or hanging out with her friends or cats: She has 3 cats, named Chloe, Meek, and Strawberry.
In 2013, Jacob Weiss joined Flying Eagle Financial’s transfer department. He is in charge of ensuring that clients’ money is transferred. He also keeps clients informed about where their money is and how it is performing.
Jacob appreciates that the team takes care of its clients by making sure they have safe money options. Additionally, he likes working at Flying Eagle Financial because of the good customer service they provide their clients and the relaxed work environment.
Jacob is known for being kind, strong-willed, and knowledgeable. He enjoys spending time with friends, gaming, and reading when he is not helping clients. He has 3 cats – Roy, Thumbelina, and Harriet.
